In Sabyasachi

Designer Sabina Chopra and models Tupur and Tapur attended the Sabyasachi show, all wearing his creations. Sabina and Tapur wore saris while Tupur wore a churidaar-kameez.

While, I love Sabina’s ensemble, I wish it was longer. The red Gucci sandals are quite an eyesore. Love both the Chatterjee sisters.

  1. is that really a sari
i cant quite figure out how it is draped then
i initially thought it was also a salwar kameez with a different drape of the dupatta

    i love the white sari!

  2. i LOVE the chaterjee sisters. they look so pretty and fresh! would love to own both of their outfits. while the saree is interesting, it isnt draped properly and the sandals spoil it even more. but the sisters make up for the eye sore 😉

  3. I love Tupur and Tapur.. they are so sweet. Sabina’s outfit: waist-down and below the green looks like 2 different outfits… what exactly is that dotted like drape coming over the black kameez? If its a sari then it has been worn in a never-been-worn & complicated way.

  4. The outfit on the left looks like a S.Indian half sari, not a full sari – i.e. basically a lehnga with the dupatta worn like a normal sari.

  5. when kids play ghar ghar, the one who is the mama wears saree (made with skirt, dupatta, mix quite a lot of materials that really dont gel together). Sabyasachi’s creation on the left, brought back those memories. not all his creations are like that though

  6. love the way the twins look. very fresh, very indian, very smart… the black and white saree looks so striking.

sabina.. meh. its just too quirky an outfit for an older lady to carry off if at all.

  8. Love the sisters Tapur & Tupur. Just wish the suit was more visible. These look like the same leggings that Sonam wore in black recently.
