In Sabyasachi

That Sabina loves her Sabyasachis is well documented and so, it sure came as no surprise to see her in his clothes past couple of events.

A pity that we don’t have a better picture of hers from the store launch; would love to see more of the outfit, can hardly tell with this picture. Of what we do see though, love what the touch of yellow brings to the look.

The second time around, at a recent party, Ms. Chopra chose a floral Sabya dress with a velvet bodice and hem which she paired with patent black mary-janes. Personally, the dress isn’t my sensibility (at all) but I do like it on Sabina. I like how the school girl ‘frock’ and shoes plays off against the severity of pulled back hair and zero accessories on her.

  1. She looks so worn out. A fresh face and some different hair style could’ve possibly made this work for her. Not sure even then though.

  2. You are kidding, right? These outfits are ridiculous! C’mon, the one on the left looks like a bedsheet and the one on the right, well nothing is ‘right’ about it. Just coz it’s a sabya design, we don’t need to start gushing 😛

  3. Eeks is my reaction for both of them and how terrible does she look in both. Maybe she’s tryin to potray a bohemian look but somehow it doesn’t work

  4. hmm.. i dont like that style (right) on a woman of her age. the bodice and the gathers remind me of a little girl and she’s well into her 50s

  6. I actually really love and want both of these dresses (I think that’s what the long one is- how fabulous would it be if it was a long flowing dress, so 1930’s).
She has a signature look with her makeup and hair, and it works for her.

  7. Do you really like this? She looks emaciated, and whats with the frock? I would love to see the comments if Aishwarya Rai had worn the velvety frock.

  8. she desperately needs to do something about the hair. Maybe bangs to look more youthful otherwise she looks like a grown woman wearing childish clothes.
