In Aangiwali

Saba attended a mehndi ceremony on Sunday evening wearing a ghagra and aangi style choli from Aangiwali. I am loving the revival of these aangi style blouses.

    • Yes, attention to breasts is a very bad thing. Because half of the gender doesn’t have it and mustn’t know if it’s existence and the other half is duty bound to hide its existence.

  1. Saba looks gorgeous, almost like a new bride. The outfit is amazing and it can get a tad bit sultry with the obvious
gold patches.. but, styling saves it. I’d do the classic diagonal dupatta drape.

  2. A not quite there dupatta disturbs the flow from head to toe of an outfit giving it an unbalanced look. If you want the blouse to be displayed as well as – ahem – how it fits you a translucent/sheer dupatta draped well will help to showcase it and balance the outfit. The mystery is in the peekaboo and not a show and tell:)

Many a naturally pretty girl uses excess makeup – another example here.

On the fence. Looks like golden innerwear worn on top of outer wear. A better drape, and hair done well would’ve elevated it somewhat. As it stands it doesn’t look good

  4. In the minority here – I love this head-to-toe and wouldn’t change a thing. It’s a beautifully balanced look and something I would replicate in a heartbeat.

The ornate blouse is balanced by the simple lehenga, the jewellery and the dupatta together complement the gorgeous hairstyle so well without over-styling the look. So glad that the look has received the wearer’s touch than going the traditional route of what the model is wearing on the right. Gorgeous!
