Two Much Of A Good Thing

At the store opening of Burberry in Delhi, we spotted designer Rina Dhaka in not one but two pieces from the Burberry Fall 2008 collection.

While we love each piece by itself we think both paired together makes for a rather dull monochromatic look. A bit of color never hurt, especially in Fall!

  1. hey pdaervo….
okay, so it’s a coat, but it is still not a good idea to match ur outerwear exactly with ur bag! they r merging into each other, ruining the effect! don’t u think? 🙂

  2. I love the coat..It fits her perfectly .. the bag with it does not look bad either,,, however something else in a different texture/color would have been better…

  5. the coat looks nice on its own. here it looks wierd matched with a bag of the same material. delhi can get cold in the winter so i guess it makes sense she’s wearing a coat but it would have looked out of place in mumbai.

  6. It always freaks me out a little when designers don’t get it right. Isn’t that part of the job description?? Like everyone said, individually they’re great. Together? Uhhh.

  7. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! Both the bag and the coat…….and contrary to a few opinions, I prefer the way Rina looks in the coat. But I do agree with P&P – both things together are killing each other in their competition for attention. Too drab!! Shouldn’t designers know better than that?
