In Gauri and Nainika

Richa, along with her co-stars and director, also walked the red carpet at the premiere of ‘Youth’ wearing a pale pink Gauri and Nainika gown. Going the minimalist route, her look was finished with simple pearl studs, a glossy lip and an updo. She looked graceful.

We did have one minor gripe and that was with the silver eye-makeup. In some pics, it came off looking odd.

  2. I’m actually looking at the director of the movie (don’t know the name but know he directed Masaa) instead of Richa. He’s handsome and funny (the photobomb!) I’m a weirdo, I know!

  3. Why such cartoonish makeup to otherwise pretty face!
Yes. much preferred Sabyasachi Saree look on her!
Its always nice to see Indian Actresses going traditional way on International platform.

  4. On a side note, Richa if you are reading this, you make us extremely proud as you were up there for your movie and not promoting a cosmetic brand. A movie that got a 5 minute standing ovation. Thanks a ton for looking gorgeous but more importantly acting in movies that make it to Cannes! Kudos!!

    • +100.. This. I don’t even understand this. Such a prestigious film festival and Indian media only cares about L’Oreal Ambassadors and their impossible gowns. Most people/actresses who attend the festival with their movies dress normally and then L’Oreal girls hop in and take away attention. Why?!! I wish they do a separate fashion show or gala instead of hijacking Cannes film festival.

    • Totally agree! There are actually Indian actresses in Cannes with films. It’s just because they are not known or conventuals attractive that they don’t get press. Kudos to highheel confidential for keeping it real and promoting them too!

    • +1000 Neharika. Well said. People “laughing” at her for her “hideous” make-up need to get a perspective. She’s there promoting her movie, a product of her talent and hard work, in one of the most prestigious film-festivals and here we are laughing at her? I am extremely proud of her for representing us for a film and not just flaunting her beauty or promoting a brand.

  6. The black highlights is really distracting. Its not a good contrast for pink. It should have been pink underside too.
