Rhea attended the screening of Dhadak wearing an oversized denim coat paired with a white shirt, skinny denims, sneakers and a Balenciaga tote.
I like over sized coats when they have a bit of a structure to them. Here though, hers looked rather sloppy and busy. I also, don’t get the makeup. All of it just felt so disconnected.

You’re right, this does look sloppy. The message is confusing: is she aspiring to grunge? But then the make up doesn’t correspond. What a weird outfit.

The outfit without the coat would have looked just perfect. Perhaps she needs to follow Coco Chanel’s advice – take one thing off before you leave the house.

Hard to believe that a person who dresses her sister so impeccably, well at least some of the time, turns up to an event looking like this..
Makes me wonder sometimes if she’s really her sister’s stylist.
I have wondered about that too. I feel that mostly Sonam styles herself, but Rhea is just involved in the logistics of sourcing the clothes and managing all administrative and coordination work that goes with the stylists job. This way the expense incurred to hire a stylist stays in the family.
No Styling talent necessary. It is not a licensed profession after all!!!!
and lets not forget, to style every look she has two assistants. Seems like assistants are doing most of the work.
Yes. The wearer has to just pick the clothes and accessories. Hair person and does hair and makeup person does makeup. A stylists job can be overrated.

They are probably traveling from one air conditioned to another…so can pretend they are in Europe in the fall. People in Alaska are not dressing this warm at this time of year.

Mumbai’s humidity is paramount right now. You would be sweating like a pig inside such overcoat , that too over pants .
cotton slouchy pants and shorts are savior . But no Ms . Kapoor lives in LA Paris in her head.
Even Paris is under heat wave this week.

I’ve said this before and will say it again. Oversized clothing looks nice when rightly done. She looks like a hobo. Not to mention how weather inappropriate this is. Even in North East USA, we have a heat wave with temperatures soaring above 33 C.
Over-sized, unstructured clothes seem to be her personal style. The look however, does feel disconnected and it is because of the make-up and accessories. Nice to see her smile, always the best accessory! 🙂

The makeup is the comparatively bearable part, had she removed her raincoat for the pics, it may have been a nice look. These sisters are constantly challenging the satire quotient with their sartorial choices.

I don’t understand why her outfit styling is so bad on herself when she does good on her sister? I don’t like any of her looks.
Nothing personal but she looks very mardana and not every dress she wears suits her. I know her sister is fashion icon, she owns Rheason but sometimes her dressing just doesn’t go with her personality.
