Sari Style

Both Rhea and Pragya attended a recent Awards event wearing saris, a Manish Malhotra one for the former and one by Sawan Gandhi for the latter. While I don’t find myself gravitating to either sari in particular, there’s no denying both ladies wore theirs well; the actors looked nice.

Edit: There are obvious fit issues with Rhea’s blouse but clearly neither was she aware herself or was made aware of by others going by the pictures. TBH, I was so distracted by the loud saris that I missed it myself else the pic would’ve never made it to the page (have now replaced it). Anyway, ladies let this be a lesson- be sure to lift your arms up and around when getting fitted for itty-bitty blouses.

  1. Rhea is beautiful and the MM sari is unexpectedly v graceful and pretty. But I was shocked to see the blouse design. I really don’t know what’s going on . Words fail me.

  2. I can’t unsee the side-boob show in Rhea Chakraborty’s first picture. I do not understand fashion where one cannot even lift one’s hand comfortably. The blouse design baffles me.

    • Wooops! The pic shouldn’t have come out on internet, it’s sad. What really are designers upto with rearranging women’s bodies, via such clothes.

  3. Both Prayga and Rhea look gorgeous, but I’m going to pick Pragya here. Wonder what was going on in Rhea’s head when she chose that blouse, I don’t think it was meant to look that way, I guess she has to remember to keep her arms down at all times!

  4. I liked the overall look of Rhea. I guess it’s a net saree and I don’t mind it all (as if it matters..lol). Like the simplicity of it. Also, don’t mind peek a boo(b) as long as it didn’t lead to any major mishap. We have seen much more on these pages and social media in general.

    • How dare you think that celebrities can also make mistakes meant for human beings! “We are the fashion police and we hold them upto highest standards”, said me, sarcastically. Don’t be surprised if you get a lot of down votes. 😉
