Rekha attended the screening of her movie Umrao Jaan on Thursday evening wearing a custom long kurta set from Manish Malhotra with jewelry that helped almost recreate her original iconic Umrao Jaan anarkali look.
As always, she pulled it off with aplomb.

Had a sad moment seeing real and poster Rekha side by side, the greatness fading to time. She’s like living umrao.
I know editing her looks even for one’s own consolation is no use. But I wish she had skipped the flowers in her hair, avoided the red tikka and had instead gone with the red paint on her fingers. I also would have skipped the twirl.
