I generally don’t like full-sleeved sheer blouses but this tissue one looks really pretty.
I love the saree and blouse and bag, bangles, Gajra.. everything but not onboard with her make up at all ever. Relaxed earthy make up will elevate her looks so heavily
Yes, I saw a photo of her recently on Pinterest where she was wearing a light pink shade of lipstick and she looks so nice. I wish she’d change the make up a bit

Discarded the Miss Havisham look for old Rekha style glamour. Looks good. Maybe the potli should be a contrast colour but yeah somedays one has a monotone mood.

Rekha is OTT. And Rekha makes it work 99% of the time. OTT is her thing but she does OTT without making it look OTT. Know what I mean?
She takes looks that would be a major tack fest on anyone else and makes it look divine on her. She is not who she is for nothing.

Why are we calling this look OTT, in my eyes this is the very definition of solah sringaar and it is what has defined beauty for ages. Just a very traditional Indian look and I am here for it.

I expect many brickbats for saying this but it will be nice to see Rekha wear her age – many others do – Nafisa Ali , Jaya Bachchan , Waheeda Rehman .. and they all look graceful , elegant ..
Jaya Bachchan has really questionable taste in fashion. It’s usually shiny, cheap looking fabric in dull colors. Please let’s not compare.

No need to bring down another woman to praise one. Rekha looks amazing here, but one could see it with another lens and say the saree looks shiny, cheap and dull color, but I don’t see it that way on the diva; so it’s the perspective and bias in our mind.
