At a screening of a series, Rekha was seen in a chanderi/benarasi cream sari with a gold potli and signature red lip. She looked lovely.
A few weeks ago though, she attended a party wearing a black and white look which sure was striking but it seems like she was having footwear issues because she was seen swapping them out thrice. Now, that am older, I totally get how the wrong footwear can totally ruin an evening.

The saree is really exquisite and Rekha looks nice in it.
The second look just reminds me of the Rekha that you’d see on the cover pages of Filmfare and Stardust in the 80s/90s. Similar getup.

I am sympathetic to the uncomfy footwear issue. But the curious mind wants to know – did she take the other pairs with her to keep swapping?
So refreshing to see her in that sari. I wish she had gone for a simpler bag, earrings and sunglasses to really achieve the Maharani Gayatri Devi look she seems to be going for but then she wouldn’t be Rekha.
The saree look is smashing!!! She looks like the uber-cool aunty at the club with whom you can gossip over a glass of wine!!!
