In Shyamal & Bhumika

Raveena picked an orange Shyamal & Bhumika sari wearing it with a glittery sleeveless blouse and diamond jewellery. Given the sari and blouse, I wish Ms. Tandon had picked one less jewellery item, preferably the cuff.

I’ve also noticed Raveena loves to play up both her eyes and lips and she would fare better if she did one or the other. Here, a lip gloss instead of the lipstick would’ve made the look feel a bit more light weight.

  1. Raveena is one gorgeous gal but she looks like a gaudy Xmas tree. Raveena was one of the better dressed actresses in the 90s. I guess she left her fashion sense back there too.

  2. She looks like a soap bahu. I bet those diamonds are real though….
If they are fake… then Ekta Kapoor must have kidnapped her by now 😛

  3. So much bling, so little time. Is that why she decided to wear all of her shiny stuff at one go?

P.S. LMAO at that watch dragging her arm down.

  4. Raveena have that perpetual look on her face that remains saying I try so hard and I never get it right, just be yourself and stop trying so hard.

  5. I like the necklace but nothing is working here. All of it is just aging her.

    1) Makeup: Every aspect is in competition with the other. Overdrawn brows, far too much highlighter and the overwhelming eye makeup. The lip colour is the only thing I like, but I do not care for the finish. Ideally, she should have opted for more natural brows, a clean soft kohl liner, a light flush on the cheeks and a stain in that lip colour.

    2) Hair: The updo is too severe. It’s dates the overall look even more. A side-parted loose low modern chignon with a slight sheen would have been preferable to product laden hair.

    3) Jewellery: There’s so much of it and while I do like the necklace, it doesn’t work with this outfit. Statement ring with a pair of understated earrings and matching pendant necklace would have worked much better, preferably in a white gold setting.

    4) Saree: I actually like the orange on her but between the loud blouse and sheer net, it didn’t quite work. The saree needed to be opaque and the blouse needs to be black silk and the straps need to rest closer to the shoulder blade. The current blouse does nothing for her silhouette.

I hate it when bad outfits happen to good looking people!

Such a chiselled face and a nice body. She could give any of the current girls a run for their money if she’d get out of the 90s. Hire a stylist Tandon!

  6. i know every time whatever she wears she is being criticised for whatever reasons i have never ever read anything good about her whenever she wears any traditional wear she was from the 1990s so what if any other actress would have worn same outfit they are being praised regularly she is best and i loved her in this saree very awesome as ever
