In Medha

Rasika spoke at a panel session this week wearing a tie-tye top and skirt set from Medha with silver earrings and toe-loop mules. She looked great in it!

  1. Do not like this at all. Looks like she’s about to start cleaning the house.

A plain black top with nice sandals and simple stud earrings would have looked much better. Add a black clutch and this would even pass as a nice evening looking.

  2. This may be the rare occasion when I dislike Rasika’s outfit. The knot on the skirt is expanding her waist, and the black stripe and dip dye effect are too stark for her personality.

  3. The skirt and top dont go well together unless she is going to beach or so.
That serious hairstyle doesnt go with that funky dress.

Also that skirt should start an or two down. It is tied too high up her waist and makes it look wider.

  4. What are these designers smoking?
    Or are they visually impaired?
Is such a talented girl from BW so desperate?

    Who is this MEDHA?
Which idiot will pay Rs. 10,000 or Rs. 50,000 for this joke?
    So silly.
At this point almost all Indian clothing designers are giant scammers.
They take traditional weave sarees and add ugly bling and mark their name. They combine two or three torn pieces of fabric and call it an outfit.

Indian fashion has ceased to be attractive or beautiful a long long time ago. “Designers” are lazy low talent money grubbing scammy and smarmy creatures

    • Said well. The Indians designers seem to have lost it long back. Combine them with Bollywood fashionistas-its an eyesore times 1000. There are idots who wanna wear these ugly things.

As an aside, been to Kanchipuram recently – breathtaking silk sarees under 10k … These “designers”, I was told, purchase from these weavers at very reasonable prices, add some ugly laces and bling and sell at Lakhs without even crediting the weavers. Same happens at Pochampally. That’s not creativity…mind you. What I understand is these designers don’t understand the textile or the person wearing it. Bollywood anyways has no clue about it.

Lastly, I work with visually impaired individuals, they are incredibly talented. To call the designers “visually impaired” is an insult to the visually impaired.
