I used to think that voluminous clothes overwhelm petite frame. But Rasika has shown me that is not the case. Though I can’t figure out what it is that makes her looks work…maybe the proportions between the different layers. She pulls them off with aplomb.
I believe it’s coz of the waist coat. It’s form fitting. Also, the shirt isn’t puffy. The rolled sleeves expose her slender forearms and the hair pinned exposes her sleek neck. It’s a balance of right amount of flair and fit. Pointes toe shoes add length to her height. Neutral makeup makes the outfit the hero. A darker makeup or lipstick would have taken the attention away from the clothes towards the face. Her stylist deserves a round of applause.

A Jewellery piece in Ruby or emrald colors might have highlighted the look but that’s just a personal view. She looks great…
love the look but maybe it’d have been better for a corporate event/debate kind a thing? it’s a bit severe for an awards night, IMO.
