Rasika was seen at a gala hosted by a digital magazine wearing an upcycled denim skirt from KH House of Khaddar with a crop top and crop denim jacket. I like the thought in opting for an upcycled skirt but the skirt just looked overwhelming on her.
P.S. In case you didn’t know, the label is an initiative by actor Kamal Haasan and stylist/costume designer Amritha Ram to promote khadi.

Wish our designers could understand the importance of simple silhouettes. What is this?? Looks like the designer started with jeans(back) looked at all the extra fabric and then kept adding it to the skirt. To Rasika’s credit she is still carrying it well.

that said, i agree the skirt is overwhelming on Rasika but i like the idea behind the outfit and I think she has the chutzpah to carry it off. i quite like the whole grungy vibe.

This gala looks like a college student’s first year practicals presentation . What is up with everyone turning up in such gastly works and the lighting is so Terrible !
Rasika being Rasika rocked it with confidence BUT that does not mean the dress or styling is good (its literally a pile of laundry) but the muse just did a great job atleast in the pics!!!
