Nope, not a single one of them has the presence, skill, beauty or charisma of a Madhuri, Sri Devi, Konkana, Vidya or even non-serious actors like Katrina and Kareena. I am not even going to mention the likes of Rekha, Meena Kumari, Nargis, Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman or Nutan. Just coz they are outsiders doesn’t mean we blindly pedestalise them. In the sea of the abysmal where the standard is at the absolute floor, someone painfully mediocre like Sanya or Tripti gives the impression of being astute. I haven’t lost my sense of objective standards enough to believe these names will ever reach the same peaks as the actors we grew up watching.
