Atleast for a while! . Atleast for a little bit let me enjoy and actually like Ranveer Singh who can look crisp And clean. Granted this kurta vest look will get boring if done a few more times. I hope we get to/I want to see him in a simple classic regular black tux for one of his receptions. I find his ‘quirky looks’ a bit too affected/showy. Like he is trying to make a point!
I have noticed one thing. There is a drastic change is Ranveer’s attitude post marriage. Seems he is done with his comical antics n now coming across as a sophisticated man. He is appearing more manly now. Maybe husband’s protective instincts have taken over. Lol!

Make up has to go with the outfit. Ditching that smokiness in favor of a light eyeliner would have elevated this look to match the dewiness of her dress. Especially since it’s daytime. But she always seems to favor that kind of eye makeup. I guess she must really like it.
And since you have raised the point of ‘indian’ bride I don’t think wearing white post nuptials is exactly the Indian way.
To me her makeup appears to be for some heavier outfit that she intends to change into.
White and no bindi is not an Indian bride.

Ranveer looks spiffy! Crisp and clean stylish suits the guy. As nice as Deepika looks I am finding her ‘post nuptial style’ boring.
They look lovely! Love Ranveer’s vest. But Deepika’s outfit doesn’t look like a Sabyasachi at all, if anything the dupatta is very Abu Sandeep!
The dupatta is actually a traditional jamdani weave. You see this barfi motif dhakai jamdanis on rich ladies a lot, and these jamdanis are hella expensive.
The gorgeousness notwithstanding, I just find everything they’ve shared thus far too choreographed, too coordinated, too cliched!
Where’s a bit of whimsy and artlessness that make desi weddings so endearing!
The reason is we are seeing professional photographs, unlike the ones in previous marriages where candid pictures n videos were made by the guests n doing the rounds on Insta. If you have seen Sonam’s wedding album by Vogue, there too it seems all well choreographed.
Wow Ranveer looks amazing in normal clothes! It’s a whole new persona of him emerging since he gave up(temporarily?) on his quirk overload. I love it! Deepika as usual kills it in everything.

I love the fit and tailoring of his vest. Gives him a very very flattering silhouette, although he is in great shape anyway.

People who are pointing out that white outfits are not “Indian” bridal look need to realize they can’t speak for all Indian cultures here. Many South Indian brides wear white for muhurath or other auspicious rituals of wedding. If you are not aware of it, it’s ok but don’t assume that everyone has to follows some kind of rules.

What is the work on her suit? Doesn’t look like the regular chikankari, not sure what it is.

I would just LOVE to see some small/simple studs in Deepika’s ears for a change. Would have also gone well with this outfit.
I always thought Deepika smiles too much at every airport sightings, ad sightings or whenever she is papped. But on her wedding day and on this one, her smile looked genuine. This is what I call a smile from the heart. Now I know she is genuinely happy! Her wedding pics are beautiful and her smiles were hearty and full of love. I love the fact that the recent brides, Deepika and Anushka had those genuine smiles of happiness at their weddings. They married their true love and it shows in their faces. Beautiful!
Kind of wish Sabya specified that Deepika’s outfit’s dupatta was a jamdani weave. This takes away from the months of hard work weavers put in to making something like that as well as the true identity of the work – classic Dhakai Jamdani

Nope, just a kurta. I think you’d agree that your eye immediately goes to the dupatta and it’s the most interesting thing in her overall look.
