For the promotions of her latest movie, Rani picked another Masaba sari to wear. I know this blouse design is quite polarizing but here’s an unpopular opinion- Rani makes it work for her! She looked good.

i’m not sure this is the same saree as neena’s — this looks far less sheer than the other one (possibly a cotton vs a silk-cotton? or maybe it’s the outdoor/indoor lighting), which is one reason the blouse is working — all the focus is on the shoulder design and the saree is plain enough to complement it. i really don’t think the saree is a big deal — it seems to be just a screenprint rip-off off a raw mango — but rani looks nice.
No one, I repeat, no one carries a sari like Rani Mukerji.
Agree a 100 times!! Also she nails it almost every time in saris, but misses the same amount in casual dressing

the blouse is fantastic on her, but you’re right it doesn’t sit well on everyone. she’s rocking it though. it blows my mind how well she wears a sari and how ghastly her western outfits are, and it’s nothing to do with her petite frame, and everything to do with the actual pieces she picks and how she pairs them, esp. the giant logo. BUT, such a vision here!

I really would have loved an edgier pony tail to go with the mod sari and blouse. The 2010s blowout feels like it needs a more traditional sari. But she is simply radiant!
