In Dolce & Gabbana

Rani attended promotions of her upcoming movie on Wednesday wearing printed Dolce & Gabbana silk pants with a white top and a single strand necklace. Between the outfit and the hair do, this look felt so very dated. A solid silk button shirt (and adding a blazer) would’ve worked so much better with those pants.

  1. Rani does the traditional routine so beautifully, but when it comes to Western, it’s a miss nearly every single time! I mean she has access to the best but none of it really flatter her..the outfit is nice, but the whole pairing and styling is a miss

  2. how come featuring d&g is exempt from idealogical issues and still gets featured? does taking stand apply only to people and not brands?

  3. Current western fashion mostly (not always …also not body shaming) needs a certain body type while Indian fashion is forgiving. While I think Rani is exploring with loose-fit western outfits with lot of colour, it’s not easy to get it right. I hope she shifts to classics.. western or Indian.. either or both would do! That pretty face deserves better.

  4. Interesting pants, although most high street brands have them by now. The shirt is really looking like a suit cover with it’s volume, it’s a bad pairing. I like the neck piece. Overall it’s not that bad, hippie vibes.

  5. those pants look like those hideous faux silk kaftan tops popular in the 90s. maybe they scoured the old GK markets and repurposed them?
