Of Dresses

Rani stuck to the dress code by picking an embellished mini (and a matching shrug/jacket) to wear. Chunky sandals and a Dolce and Gabbana bag rounded out her look. I want to like this look but it just doesn’t work! Those sandals throw off the proportions and the jacket adds nothing to the look. Perhaps with no jacket and sharp pumps this look could’ve been salvaged, but as it stands, this was a miss.

  1. She’s finally served us a look without brands and I’m going to quietly run with it without complaining about the two different shades of black and those heavy shoes and how the overall look isn’t working 🙂

  2. Chunky shoes do not look good on people who are petite. They make one’s legs look shorter and out of proportion

Black sling backs would have been a better option.

  3. Thank God for small mercies! No shades! And no monograms! That is two miracles for one night!

Her make up and overall look is so good that I am going to ignore the clunky shoes and the two shades of black.

Her face looks so radiant here!

  4. She looks nice.. For somebody who doesn’t work with a stylist (for private appearances/parties), and is not omnipresent in showbiz, she does well.

  5. She doesn’t look that bad. I do wish that dress was a tad bit longer. It would have shown off her curves more than her legs. That face though is just evergreen gorgeous.
