At the promotions of Liger, Ramya was seen wearing a Payal Khandwala sari and blouse paired with silver jewellery and kolhapuri chappals. From a design aspect, given the sheerness of the top of the sari, the striped contrasting blouse with its front closure felt awkward and can’t say I liked it.
Neck up though, she looked lovely. Did you like?

Agree, neck up is pretty as always. Personally I hate these sheer/organza sarees that are everywhere at the moment. I also don’t understand why wear one and then try and hide the midriff or necklace with awkward poses. But then, that’s my opinion and people are free to whatever they please.
Ramya Krishnan is one of the very few stars that has an appeal that goes beyond fashion and all these sundry commentary. Despite the sheer sari and weird blouse, she still looks good.
Can believe shes’ in her early 50’s, rocks this saree!

She looks lovely thanks to the colors of saree and wearing it like a saree, blouse maybe jarring with the saree colors and hair print.
You probably don’t like the blouse as you are used to Bollywood edits – there would have been a peekaboo cut out in the front. ?

This one and its variants have been sported by many celebs and all those outings did better justice that this to the piece. This is the worst way to style it. The blouse material, cut, color, and design does not gel. The footwear is all wrong. Overall a total fail for me.
She looks so pleasant to the eye and the wind blowing her hair – so “heroine” like.
