Rakul was seen in a gunmetal mirrorwork sharara from Vvani by Vani Vats at the Kapoor-Thakkar wedding reception on Wednesday evening. The two-piece by itself would’ve looked bare and so Rakul added a pink fringe stole to the outfit and finished out with a necklace. She did look good in the sharara set but this outfit feels more cocktail event than wedding reception. Wasted effort to point out anymore me thinks given BW doesn’t seem to adhere to any dress code.

Rakul is taking “less is more” too literally!
This is such an unflattering look. It looks awful even on the model. The flared pants, the shimmer, the deep neck in the top.
Rakul looks great in shararas but that looks more like a glittery bra rather than a top. Maybe not so appropriate wedding guest attire.
The shimmer and colour are great. But that’s about it. Bathing suit vibes. Not in taste for a wedding.

this needed atleast a shrug, even if sheer, net anything. not to cover up but to bring some completion.
ummm. no. this would’ve worked only if there was a sheer kurta over the “choli”, maybe up to the mid-thigh to emphasize this is a sharara. this is too reminiscent of a bra and pants.
how is this a sharara?! this is just a blinged out bra and yoga pants. and then she draped some sad dupatta over her elbows- for what?
Totally inappropriate! Wherever you come from I don’t understand how you can dress up like this to someone else’s wedding! Standing out for all the wrong reasons.
