Teaming her distressed denim shorts with a white tee, denim jacket and pair of slides, Rakul stepped out during the day. And later that evening, she wore her hair down and teamed the same shorts with a striped knit and pair of ankle boots. While it might still be very casual, Rakul makes the more put together evening version of the look work for her.

May be it is just me but knit with shorts doesn’t make any sense to me
How can someone walk in such teeny weeny shorts in public places .. rolling my eyes

But the shorts are a bit too short for my taste. But she looks good.
Agreed. Rakul looks super fit and toned, and she looks great.
But these looks don’t belong on a fashion blog, I think. Nothing noteworthy about them.
She is rocking those shorts! Not many people can carry it off that well, without looking weird/awkward. Love her in both looks, but I actually like the knit top combination better 🙂
When I was living in Mumbai 16 years ago, women in shorts was very rare. How things have changed!
I love denim shorts but these are a bit risque for my taste. How do you sit in them and maintain modesty? Dont these things ride up?
One of my pet peeves is shorts that are so short that the pockets show from under them.
On one side people wear camel coats, leather pants and on the other this. Micro-climate at its best in Mumbai! I think now its not micro but nano-climates! Haha!
