Rakul wore a one-shouldered Carmen Marc Valvo to the Filmfare Awards with an updo and a berry lip. We’ve said it before many a times, lamé is a very tricky material to pull off.
While waist up, Rakul looked good, the shortened hemline made the overall look feel less effective. You only have to see the same gown made in silver to notice that that extra fabric in the front made a world of a difference.

So agree with the added length comment… she’s l looking short n stunted..
This material always looks like a melted bar of iron. The look is okay but a deep red instead of that berry lip would have looked better.
Agreed. She looks good in the 3rd pic. Lovely smile. The shorterned hemline plus the color makes the whole look not so effective as the silver one.
