At promotions of her movie, Raashi was seen in a pink silk sari from Raw Mango and this is probably the first time I had not liked one of their offerings. Do you like that stitched ruching design?

Looks lovely, especially the color.
I quite liked it. Between the colour, gold motifs and the ruching design, it felt interesting. The simple styling certainly helped as well

That wouldn’t be Raw Mango. That is more the stylist/actor who draped the sari this way.
This whole new collection from Raw Mango is super tacky. The work on blouses and bust is the tackiest I have seen. It looks like its straight out of those B grade 80s movies. This ruched sari is one of the weirdest take on a saree I have ever seen. I am yet to come across a tackier collection by a well known brand which specialises in handlooms and traditional clothing. If Raw Mango wanted to do something different but remain traditional they should take inspiration from Ekaya- their last few collections have been exceptional. Kshitij Jalori is another one who does benarsi beautifully.
Their older collections are so good, can’t say the same about the latest one. The prices are skyrocketing though.
