I wish this wasn’t see through. I just cannot get past that.
I think there is an golden or some such color pant underneath it
I watched the red carpet broadcast last night and at one point, you could see her adjusting the gown in the background. There’s a nude-colored lining underneath. It’s not see-through. I also don’t think the photos do the gown justice. It was even more amazing on video. Great texture and dimension.

Wish she had picked a different designer, this is too bridal.
However, it is so wonderful to see an Indian on the Oscars red carpet, especially one that looks stunning.
Also, after seeing her on video, I was left wishing she had gone for a nude lip colour shade (similar to the one at the after party) instead of the bright red that made her lips look too big.
Hair looks too plain. Dress is fab!

I feel mean for even saying this (she looks so lovely and happy!!) but I was expecting more pizzazz…she is capable of wowing us, and this doesn’t seem like a “wow” gown.
She could not have worn a bigger gown. She was neither a nominee nor in a nominated movie. This gown is very attractive, and yet appropriately understated.

Agree… she could have gone bigger but keeping her role in perspective, she did just right!! Fresh, young and exciting!! So proud of her!!
I am so proud of Priyanka but I have to say that I am underwhelmed by this look!! This is lacking the impact that I was expecting, nevertheless Priyanka looks fun wearing this! You go girl!
This is a very ordinary look just as many ppl are pointing it out nothing stellar, the tan lines are visible too, look lacks lustre, not happy with the choice of the gown.
Am I the only one to feel the fit around the bust and underarm is a tad too tight? Find it too distracting to look past it…

I am super proud of Priyanka, but definitely underwhelmed. I was expecting something to blow us out of our minds and we all know that she truly is capable of it.
Her boobs look weirdly lopsided. Is it too tight or something at the top? Or is it her stance?
Glad I saw the award show on tv before this blog, because these pics don’t do justice. She looked perfect for a presenter!

I was expecting more like many have said above. This was underwhelming! Neck up she does look good!
She looks great in this and in principle I love the gown…only gripe is that I don’t like seeing all that sheer from her ankles to her ..errr…hip area…because there is so much sheer a darker colour would have been better. In any event the silhouette works great on her and I am certain she grabbed a lot of eyeballs! I like her make up too!
I don’t know..she has done better. The shape and the length of the gown is lovely. PC on the other hand looks dull..maybe the colour of the gown and the lipstick is not for her? So very proud of her growth story though.

SHe doesn’t look bad, but I was expecting so much more. I wish she had dialed up the sexy through her hair and make up. This looks is OK – it feels like we have seen it so many times before. The hair is flat, and the make up makes her look tired.
She is on every best-dressed list. I think she looks fabulous! And her body in a gown like this reminds me of someone like Sofia Vergara – women of colour often curvier, and she’s working that dress!

White was a safe choice… Difficult to not like that color on this skin tone.

I LOVE this look!! I saw some of the other red carpet looks, and I can say PC was certainly one of the best looks out there. Understated was kind of the theme for many out there, and I am glad PC didn’t go the dramatic route… While, it’s an elegant understated look, the gown surely is quite sexy!! Way to go PC!

Priyanka looks good and even if she didn’t (don’t kno if that’s even possible) we’d all be so happy to see her at the Oscars. That said, the bodice seems ill fitting/one size too small and the hair ages her. Despite that she carries herself so well, almost making up for it.
A big NO NO, for that hair and makeup! Makes her look older than she actually is. Nothing worth noticing except for her diamonds and the manicure.
Little underwhelmed by this appearance. Was expecting her to blow us away…alas!! Gown is nice…hairstyle is seriously Meh.
