Priyanka attended Durga Puja celebrations wearing a cobalt blue kurta set from Sobariko. If you look at the model’s version, the the border cuffs on the pants are worn at a height such that the blue doesn’t show and hence proportions don’t look off. Priyanka wore hers so low that it just came off looking odd. I also didn’t care for the v-neck modification.

Personally not a fan of either versions. These kind of outfits seem to flatter very specific bodies. Also it looks stuffy. The color is lovely.
I have a question for all out there – how do you manage plazzo or sharara in restroom. I love how comfortable they but hate that they need so much effort

Just like you would manage any other pants that are not skinny jeans or leggings in restroom.
I thought this was a Payal Khandwala, it’s very reminiscent of her brocades.
There are a couple of new labels that are doing very similar work.
I love her brocade work so much and for my covid wedding I wanted only that. Ofocurse I cannot afford it so I got it all made from mom’s darji . It turned out so well Yellow and Pink. They introduced me to lots of customers telling them it is my design and madam is very trendy ( lol ) . I showed him lotsa of Payal Khandelwal designs on Pinterest. Now they use Pinterest and know of Payal Khandelwal . Hope they have explored more designers . Earned so much goodwill for mom ;p . Perfect trickle down !!

The cuffs on a pants are fixed so they are more likely to get stuck around the ankle unless you are wearing loose cuffed wide-legged pants, then same issue like shararas.
The color is lovely and she looks great! But she reminds me of a mix of kylie and kendall jenner
Maybe the length of the pants would be ok with heels ?
It’s a beautiful color on her but what’s wrong with the face, brows and heavy make up.. outfit looks very dated.
This was not a good look on Priyanka. Neither the outfit, not the hair, nor the makeup suited her. She looked like any Indian girl-next-door would without an army of stylists, glam squad, hair and makeup experts to get her ready.
Why is that not good?

Not on the occasion of Durga Pooja. Any other day, sure. Expect more of an effort for such a festive prominent occasion. Nothing wrong with girls next door. Even girls next door dress up for a visit to the North Sarbhojan Durga pandal.
i was just applauding that- almost everyone maybe save Alia were a more relaxed next door avatar.
Minor grievances with the length of the bottoms aside I really like the v neck modification.
I absolutely love this color on Priyanka. She looks gorgeous.
