Priyanka attended the premiere of her movie in NYC wearing a silver gown from Ralph Lauren with her hair down in a sleek middle parted do and simple jewellery to let the silk slip like gown do all the talking. Neck up she looked great and the gown is delish. The nipples protruding though is a distraction that was avoidable.

Samantha and Miranda wore faux nipple pasties on sex and the city over 20 yrs ago. the episode made the point that these were liberated women and that the look was a magnet for men. Jlo’s 2001 or Gwyneth”s 2002 free the nipple transparent top on their Oscar gown…and so many more recently too Pop culture showcases this as something a confident woman who is secure in her body would do. That percolates and perpetuates..and here we have it in NYC in 2025 * *

This is quite common with Hollywood ladies.
But, I personally find it quite uncomfortable to even look at someone walking around like that.
It’s an ordinary looking maxi but Priyanka looks amazing in hers, there’s fit issues but these silk and satins don’t seem to fall as smooth on body as they do on models.
Why should she have to hide her nipples? Like we ditched the bra, can we also normalise not wearing nipple patches?
Idk if it’s the makeup but it looks like her face is morphing into Mindy Kaling
The dress is nice but nothing great. Yeah the nipples look a bit strange but you know what I like about this look? She hasn’t stuffed herself into some Spanx/Skims like attire underneath. Her body still looks fab but it’s natural and gives someone like me who could rarely pull off a satin dress like this without my bulges showing a hell of a lot more confidence.
Priyanka looks fantastic, the dress it self is nothing much to write about….it doesnt scream designer but it does compliment Priyanka’s curvy slim beautiful body! Nipple patch, yes everyone needs it as without it, a very classy look can look very trashy!

As someone who goes braless, as a fairly senior corporate leader, in India, and travel overseas, I genuinely don’t care if people get offended as long as they listen and speak. I can see men’s balls’ contours. They can see my nips. Evens Stevens
I’m confused. Is this about getting even with men? Quite frankly, when I am at work, I prefer people look at my work, not my anatomy. And I certainly don’t spend my time looking at men’s balls…just because men don’t care to hold themselves in doesn’t make it appropriate/attractive, and I really don’t see the point of getting even. In most businesses, talking about body parts etc constitutes sexual harassment. I’m floored that walking around showing off nipples, balls and boobs is not frowned upon.
I get that a movie promotion is “work” for PC, but I think it’s a different game than the corporate world. In the film world the shape of your body often dictates the kind of work you get. I truly hope the shape of my body does not dictate how I get hired and promoted in the corporate and academic worlds. I for one, don’t want to be objectified. I get paid to do work, not promote my body. And I truly hope my work is what gets noticed.
Film world or not, regardless of the nipple show, I don’t like PC’s look here. I personally feel these sorts of satin dresses are nothing more than glorified nightdresses. I hope I’m not opening a Pandora’s box about wearing nothing but lingerie to work…

Hey confidence overshadows every goddamn thing . And that’s stunning in a way only PC can . I doubt if Bollywood would have given this to her but Hollywood did her good .
I dont feel the hair, make up or accessories go well with the dress.
Like the long earrings on the model seem to go better with the dress.
Coming to the nipples showing, have seen that being done in Hollywood a lot in various shows like in Friends sitcom to movies. Personally I feel its a distraction, those who feel its unnecessary to wear anything underneath then have to look at the basic need to wear undergarments, why it started etc (shape wear may be too much push to look a certain shape).
It is clearly a case of how comfortable we are with our bodies . But we should remember each one of us come with our own insecurities and vulnerabilities.So some dont feel confident with their legs..so they try to hide it. Which is ok. Some ..have some insecurity with some other body part. Which is also ok. Some are comfortable with their entire body face. Which is also ok. Whatever feels comfortable for them they should do it.
