Priyanka on Bazaar Bride: (Un)Covered

Comment image 20

Priyanka graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Bride 2nd Anniversary edition wearing an Anamika Khanna top with an Abraham and Thakore lehenga and a black Dior blazer.

If you think of it, the pose is a bit funny, especially that skirt yank to show off the boots, but the overall cover still was quite striking.

Did you love the cover too?

  1. Dint know black is part of bridal wear, I always thought it taboo!
Striking, but don’t like the peekaboo of 1 boob (both might looked better ๐Ÿ™‚ ) and the expression with boot show.

    • Yeah, exactly, the gorgeous lehenga minus: first of all, the blazer, secondly, the hairdo, thirdly, the face expression and the pose. Don’t get me started on the boot(ie)s…

  2. Someone mentioned a few posts ago (on Ranveer’s nosepiece) how hot he looked. When I mentioned “not the same gender attire”, I was kinda ostracized. Since, according to few, woman attire is no less than man, how do u picture Ranveer (or any other man) on this cover?
    Thank you…point made

  3. Nope, no no NO…Oh Priyanka, why did u do this to yourself ??That hairdo is too severe, that jacket doesn’t belong here and don’t even get me started on that boot show there !! I’m sorry, but that pose doesn’t look like you are showing off your boots..that kind of grabbing and that expression on your face almost looks like when you are on the way to a wedding and you’ve come across a puddle of mud water and are looking to jump without getting it all over yourself !!

  4. I guess she was trying for the fierce look, but she just looks kinda worried. It’s never a good thing when Ranveer Singh looks better in a nose ring than you do.

    • +1 She looks weird. Akshay and Ranveer pulled off the nose ring chain so effortlessly because they have that dynamism and dashing personality. Priyanka DOESN’T AT ALL has it. She fails.

  5. I like everything about it…from top to toe. It’s fierce and unconventional. And I think Ranveer would look equally good in this look…yes, even in a lehenga.

  6. Whoever the stylist is … He / she is going thru a mid life crisis or being a stylist has gone to their head. Im embarrassed to say this is our level of fashion in India.

  7. That is such a repetitive theme on the cover. Same ol same ol. Lehenga with a blazer, the over-sized nose ring and that posture, we have all seen that before! Snooze.
