From The Archives: Priyanka in HiBlitz Dec 2008

Way before doing big hair for L’Officiel in Ferragamo, Priyanka also did a spread for HiBlitz back in December of 2008 with long tresses. While the L’Officiel cover was more edgy, this spread shot in Goa is more serene.

P.S. You can catch Preity in the same yellow Peacock gown here.

  1. I’m so tired of the same actresses doing magazine shoots constantly. It’s getting boring to see Priyanka, Deepika, and Kareena over and over again. Yawn!

  2. It looks like a watch commercial for me from the cover page to the rest of the other pages. The picture next to the cover page is overpowered by the location that after moving to other pages, the location becomes the focal point after the watch.

  3. I agree- I would love to see some fresh faces on the glossies. Though it does look like she’s modeling for a travel destination(she makes me want to go to Goa! lol), and perhaps she has a watch contract?? , I’m just glad she’s not suffering from the Lollipop Syndrome here. The clothes are fab, though- I would certainly not turn down that Raakesh Agarvwal outfit!

  4. I used to like her hair when it was this long WAY long ago 🙂 she really does have lovely thick hair
also, I think the makeup is bad, or they didn’t airbrush as much as usual or something :/i

  6. peechu,
    Thanks!
That’s it! I couldn’t remember the brand. I figured the blatant watch placement had to be an endorsement. Which is pretty unfortunate because it takes away from the fashion, but Hi Blitz is just lifestyle in general anyway so I guess it only matters to us HHC lovers. :-\

  7. I like this shoot a lot better than the L’Officiel shoot. But the pic of her in the red Falguni and Shane Peacock dress is kind of freaking me out!
From what I can see of the dress she’s wearing on the cover I love love love it ^_^

  8. Love it, she looks gorgeous in long flowing hair. Great photography too.
I don’t like her current boring hair do – should go for the short bob that she sported in some photoshoots or keep them really long like this shoot, she looks stunning.

  9. I agree with PeachBellini. the locale is more distracting than miss. chopra!

just wondering, isn’t priyanka wearing the same orange necklace (in the last pic) that sonam wore for the verve feb magazine cover page?

  10. I agree it’s getting boring that same people are doing it. But I LOVE the location…wow hehe…I think PC looks good too but not spectacular.

  11. I’ve been away from HHC for a while now…needless to say, missed it like hell! I know I’m being silly but I can’t stop smiling now that I’m back!
Back in time to catch this lovely photoshoot. I’m loving PC here…esp in the red one. She photographs so well (of course with a “little” bit of help from the lighting, stylists, photographers etc!)
Perhaps duskier skin tones look better in pictures. I have fair skin, and almost always look awful in photos!
However, isn’t the cover shot a tad too “standard bollywoodesque”?

  12. I love the last picture of her in the Raakesh Agarwal!!!! Love her pose, love the whole picture! She looks so strong and different in it. The expression on her face is almost defiant.

I totally 100% agree with you! It’s always the same, boring people wearing the same, boring dresses doing the same darn poses. I’m sick of seeing bollywood ladies, I want to see real models in these magazine editorials like monikangana, anchal, candice etc the list goes on…
