In Marc Jacobs

Mrs. Chatwal wore the same Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 outfit seen also on Sonam in Harpers and Freida in Vogue and while it looked great in print, can’t say the same about the outfit in real life. Priya changed it up slightly by skipping the copper brown belt detail for a blue/black one which was a wrong move because the third color was what made the outfit interesting. I am all about pumps but this time I wish Priya had skipped them.

    • @ sam: there is no need to be so obnoxious. What makes you think you know more about international fashion than her? She was a model in london and now she’s brought the best of brands to India. She’s usually a fabulous dresser and EVERYBODY (atleast everybody who doesn’t have a team of stylists) slippes up and commits a faux paux once in a while.

And considering that she works with the best of brands, she is quite obviously NOT enamoured by a big label. Hilarious

  2. Oh my! Looks like she is dressed as some glowing insect for halloween. On a side note, its amazing how she and kadambari lakhani (narendra kumar’s muse) look so alike.

    • “she’s no nothing” so according to you a model with a degree in law from the London School of Economics and a successful business is reduced to “nothing”becuase of one fashion faux paux?

Where does that ultra-harsh standard of judgement leave the rest of us normal people (including YOU) i wonder?

OMG, will you people tone down the arrogance in your comments?

  5. we all love fashion …. and we all love marc jacobs …. and we all lust after dresses and bags and shoes that cost an average man’s yearly salary ……

…… but at times like this, i feel we all are a bunch of idiots … who the hell designs this crap and who actually buys it and then even wears it! …. it reminds me of a trash can bag, of foil, of the “barsaati” that people in the slums use to cover their roofs, of what the “thelewaalas” cover their carts with ……

this is just being ripped off in the name of high fashion….
