Kalki and Anurag weren’t the only folks who tied the knot past week. Tamil/Malayalam movie star Prithviraj also tied the knot with BBC journalist Supriya Menon last week and the newly weds had their reception in Ernakulam on Sunday night.
For the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom wore traditional white but for the reception it was Sabyasachi outfits for both.

And the coincidence is, Prithviraj’s debut hindi movie will be an anurag kashyap production.
Its too north indian, matchy matchy, filmy for the reception.
Prefer the wedding look a lot more. He looks good and she looks dated.

oh he looks scrumptious in the white wedding outfit while she looks better in the Sabya. Too much red and gold at the reception though. Looks too North Indian for a couple from Kerala where wedding outfits are typically understated.

What’s up with Ms Menon’s hair (esp at the wedding ceremony)?? It’s not at all in sync with the whole North Indian ensemble (which does no favour to them) and looks super dated. It’s almost very rare to see grooms in Kerala wear the sherwani whether they are stars or not and for those who have seen Prithvi wearing mundu (Kerala dhoti) in movies, I am sure you agree he looks a million bucks in that!

well- he was indeed wearing mundu for the wedding function – white kurta n white mundu – the pic here is not very clear.

Why can’t he shave of his facial hair at least for the wedding ceremony? That’s my only gripe. lol. Prithvi looks hot, otherwise.
I wish she’d worn a more traditional Mallu saree for this wedding. This one looks neither here nor there. Don’t like her Sabya outfit for the reception either. The guy looks good in both though.
i think his facial hair was a planned one.. and he looks better with one than without … i’ve seem both looks in his movies .. (and i’m glad he did NOT maintain a stub…)
