Sari Style- Part Deux

At the designer-duo’s book launch, almost every one in attendance was in Indian-wear. You’ve got to love the multiple sightings of saris, lehengas and suits even if some were more successful than others.

Of these lovely ladies to step out in their saris, have a favorite?

P.S: Check back later for better images.

  1. Shoba De’s saree (just the saree) is lovely, looks a little different from the rest of them. Ms. Reddy’s saree is a great color, just not her.

  2. Dear God words fail me for all of them. retire the gold, the satin, the ghastly earrings.

And I really really mourn the loss of the lovely and simple look Jaya B had as a young actress, why did she not retain it……sigh, wanders away to watch young Jaya movie……

  3. Ok its clearly Prerna and Pratima who steal the show. Shobhaa De i have to say rocks as well. Why is a rich woman lik Pinky Reddy wearing a sari so bad

  4. Shobha De’s chikan work saree is wonderful, she just looks odd in the badly taken picture.
There is a major wardrobe malfunction happening with Pratima. Kalyani’s look would have been fab if the gold borders weren’t so tacky.

  5. I like Prerna’s sari. I am not a fan of black saris with gold/silver (looks a bit garish to me!) but I think Kalyani looks striking in hers.

  6. Prena and Jaya, the rest just look tacky…wats happening with Pratima’s blouse and is Pinky Reddy really wearing matching yellow heels….lol

  7. Saw those abu and sandeep gota sarees on pernias pop up shop and thought they looked quite cheap looking but actually am suprised that it looks pretty good on kalyani. Maybe they look better in real life? Pinky looks awful but i like prerna and shobha des sarees.
