This month’s People magazine has Preity on the cover wearing the same Surily Goel fringe dress that we saw on Soniya back in Jan. Preity also wears another Surily Goel, a white version of which we saw on her already too at the Chivas Fashion presentation of Surily’s collection.
What’s with the pageant hairstyle on the cover?

Love Preity’s People cover. She has that light-you-up kinda face, and I am glad that People went straight for her closeup for the cover!

Preity def has an infectious smile but I really didn’t like the cover. It looks so dated. Hate the hair n those earrings… With a gorgeous face like that they couldve done so much..very disappointed! But def would love to see preity on more mag covers
“Dated” was the exact adjective that came to my mind when i saw the cover. Like Woman’s Era of the mid 90’s…bleh!

Preity is a beautiful woman.. but this one I dont like.. Theres no full pic but can imagine that with this hairdo, earrings etc. she should be luking like the yesteryear helen/aruna irani dance number look…. tassles, big hairdo, these earrings, short dress…
and please I am big helen fan.. so there is no offence anywhere .. its just that – that look is so not Now
What’s with the 90s look?? The hairdo, the earings…everything looks sooo dated and uninteresting. No, thumbs down for this one.

She has such a pretty face. Totally not digging this cover, her face looks bloated in this one.
she is looking awful on the cover…almost as if the stylist wanted her to look ‘schoolgirl young’
The cover does not do justice. Something about her full cheeks and eyes that are just off! Seems to me like puffy eyes have been covered up with lots of makeup. And yes that hair is so no-no.
To me this is one of her worst pictures . It does her no justice and I don’t even like her as much. The hair styling is terrible – 90’s pageant. And something about the angle is so not right for her.

This has to be the most ‘Dated’ mag cover i’ve seen in a while..
i mean magazines get the 1980’s influenced covers right…why couldn’t the people at people(hahaha) contemporise the circa early 90’s streetwalker look ??
This cover does not project her image of a truly classic style, which she does with effortless ease. I think the picture of her in a red kurta with the team logo personifies her better, atleast during the IPL season.
Is there a devious plan to bring back the late 60s look a la Babita and co.? Someone say no!
