Though there isn’t anything really wrong with the look, it wasn’t the best choice for Ms. Zinta either. We may be in minority here but, the look was a wee bit too matronly for the perky actress to wear to her movie’s launch.

    • i agree, it competes too much with the beautiful flower detail on the skirt. but overall a very well thought out look, i must say

  1. Just because her personality is bubbly and perky doesnt mean she must always dress that way, i think she has a great dress sense and carries of mostly anything with class. This look is great on her. P&P needn’t b so biased about everything, including dressing diff from personality type!

  2. I think she looks cute & I especially love the belt. She looks flirty and chic. The look is saved from being matronly since the skirt is above her knees. The short hair suits her!

  3. Something about it is just wrong – Have to agree with the naysayers this time! Maybe on someone else it would work, but i don’t care for it on PZ.

  4. i often find you guys unjustifiably dissing priety zinta. dont know what thats about. i remember when she looked RAVISHING in a pink dress and you said she looked tired.

  5. I can see where you guys are coming from, but I think she manages to pull it off. Maybe it’s the hair, but she makes it look chic and fresh. The frilly skirt and belt make it less matronly than it would otherwise be.

  6. Her skirt is cute. She could have paired it with a more summery/formal look if that was what she was aiming for (I thought India was going through a heat wave) and shiny black is so not summer. Belt surely has to go.

  7. I dont think its matronly at all…in fact quite the opposite..very very girly…anyway black and white can be boring sometimes. and this instance its really boring …

  9. I like it! There is nothing wrong with it. It is also very French as French women tend to stay away from “off-the-mannequin” trends and stick to staples mainly…
