In Naeem Khan
One of our least favorite outfits from designer Naeem Khan’s Spring 2009 collection made its way onto Indian-American actress Pooja Kumar, who wore it to the the premiere of “Bollywood Hero” in Los Angeles. As if the dress wasn’t bad enough (we didn’t like the floral/fringe mix), Ms. Kumar makes it worse by pairing the dress with metallic brown T-strap sandals.
P.S. The three-part mini “Bollywood Hero” premieres on IFC on Aug 6th at 10pm EST and also stars Chris Kattan and Neha Dhupia.

Oh yea! That’s a totally ugly dress!
i think if the fringes fell on her mid to upper thigh, this dress could’ve worked- something fun and funky. but its soo wrong at that length, and i agree, those shoes are hideous!!
Just a friendly correction: it should be “Indian-American.” “American Indian” is used for Native Americans.
Lin,
My bad, you are right. Thanks!
I reckon she actually looks gud….
not too bad actually…
I think it looks alright. The dress isn’t anything great but it’s not horrible either.
That is an ugly dress which is meant to be wore by someone with long legs.
The shoes are too clunky and just ugly.
The dress isn’t HORRIBLE, I think she looks…ok. The shoes don’t help, and she doesn’t really have the attitude for something like this…
Pretty face though
Agreed…shoes are hideous… but she looks great…
whats wrong with the dress?? i think she looks good.
I would love the dress if it didn’t bubble at the bottom & have the fringe. The print is great.
& yes those shoes are a no. & her bracelet.
minus the fringe the dress would have been ok, the shoes are really ugly, God she needs a full length mirror.
dress is bad, but somehow she looks gorgeous
Antonia..it isn’t a print! The dress is heavily
embroidered.
