stunning. if you can’t pull out all your jewelry with a heavy kanji, nothing will ever merit wearing them.
Pretty sure it ain’t her jewellery but I do get your point!
also, she’s the only one of the younger lot who consistently wears these traditional, zari-worked kanjis and carries them off with aplomb, without looking overwhelmed or like she’s in a costume. kudos for that!
Many South actresses wear kanjis. You will see the images used in plenty of saree shop sites and ads.
Those would be ads, no? Where am guessing the actors have zero say, since they’re selling what they wear.
This, at least, doesn’t carry a brand name.

She looks gorgeous! As rightly mentioned in an above comment, she is one of the very few of the younger lot who consistently wears these heavy Kanjis and silks with aplomb.
The weave is so rich and resplendent. And she carries it with such elan. Loved it.
