In Masaba For Satya Paul

Pernia attended day one of WIFW wearing a cropped lipstick print top from Masaba’s debut collection for Satya Paul. While the white pants helped downplay the look, it wasn’t enough. There was just too much midriff which got distracting.

  1. Oh Goodness. Just when I was starting to recover from that bustier/bra paired with some saree she sported a few days back, here is one disaster again.

  2. That blouse would have been fine with a saree but with those pants?! Its really inflattering actually, can’t believe she thinks it looks good?

  3. You know she actually does not look so bad, nice to see an Indian chick rocking a hard belly. I wish we had photos where the posture was different. The way she is holding herself is odd. I like seeing people push the edge a little. Its so boring to see the prom luxe aesthetic at the Oscars for example. Indians should not object to the tummy, after all its our thing ! 🙂

  4. I don’t like the makeup and hair. Plus, I can’t think of anything that the top would be appropriate with. Perhaps a long, colorful, high waisted flowy skirt?

  5. This is plain tacky. HOw did she walk around like that in public and didnt get obnoxiously stared at? The jacket wouldn’t have saved this look either.

  6. I guess everyone has a day off! Should’ve picked up high waisted pants! This looks too tacky! Its evident from her face and body language how uncomfortable she herself is in the centre jacket! Notice the jacket in stow!

      • And if she had breathed any harder to suck in that hard stomach that top would have ridden up a notch exposing anatomy she didn’t intend to. As it is the blouse is right under one of the girls! I wonder if she dared to put her hands up high to wave at someone!

  7. Some people see an exposed midriff and automatically think it translates to tacky, but I don’t think that is the case here. If she would have paired her top with booty shorts, I could have understood, but she wore it with elegant white pants. Is it one of her best? NO. But, I think she looks pretty good and carries it off well, while some other girls who would’ve tried something like this would’ve looked like complete hoochie mamas. But yeah, she could have done away with the bedazzled belly button.

  8. Clothes should make anyone look pretty, smart, attractive. It’s so basic to get that right, why this? It’s off the ramp right, so this drama wasn’t needed unless she wanted to show her worked out abs to the world disguised in the name of fashion
