Two recent sightings of Pernia’s had her in two very different looks. For the launch of her upcoming film’s music, she stayed close to the character she plays in House of Kotwara and Amrapali jewelry. And, while at an event promoting her movie, Pernia took a break from Kotwara and instead picked a Lola by Suman B jumpsuit and Anita Dongre earrings.

Think she did well with her outfit choices?

  1. Oh dear lord
That first outfit is a complete assault on the senses
The designer needs to go back to design school
And then to style it that way – in character or not!? Crikey

  2. The first outfit is an absolute disaster, not that she cares much about it.

She is a pioneer in making designer wear accessible online. Sometimes when you reach somewhere in life, you really stop caring about other people’s opinions, at least when it comes to personal style.

Second outfit -Better in comparison to the first one.

  3. The first one looks like some exaggerated costume of a dictatorial bitchy princess from some old Hindi movie (the ones who sided with the Brits against the rest of the Indians fighting for azaadi) and the neckline of the second one reminds me of Jasmine from Aladdin

pS – Just to clarify before anyone takes offence. Her costume does remind me of some character from some Hindi movie but I don’t remember which one – where the spoilt daughter of some king was cruel and merciless to all the people in the kingdom until the hero comes along, tames the shrew and they all fight for freedom 0. Then she starts wearing khadi saris

  5. Man! Some of the Kotwara outfits are straight-up hideous. Why would anyone with sense want to wear something like that?? I fail to understand.

  6. The clothes are too tacky for words. Adding to the general tackfest is her makeup, her stiff-necked poses, and that artificial grin.
