Sari Style

While at an awards event back in February, Parvathy was photographed in a sari by Picchika. Going the more casual route at another event in Kochi, the actor picked an Anavila sari, one that she teamed with a Shades of India blouse. Wearing her hair back both times, Parvathy teamed the pastel saris with jewelry from Aquamarine.

In some pictures she’s seen pairing the Picchika sari with a necklace and in some, big earrings. Which combination do you think worked better with the sari? I much prefer the earrings over the more conservative necklace.

She wears both saris well but I am partial to her look from the awards night.

  1. Saree is lovely, the sheery material makes the blouse more contrasting, but overall love a proper bloused saree, worn well, graceful and power packed.
Also love it bare with just earrings, the second wearing with necklace is very usual and conformist.

  2. Not a fan of either of the looks, while the sarees are alright and she looks nice in them, they seems to unnecessarily age her a lot.

  3. She should have reversed the drapes… more fluid with the sheer saree and more structured with the pink one.
It was probably deliberate.. trying to be “different”… with everyone trying to be ” different” they all end up looking the same!
