Sari Style
Parvathy opted for a classic checks and butta sari pairing it with a choker style necklace, glass bangles and her hair worn loosely in a braid with mogra and alta in her hands. All of it was nice except the blouse here. It was distracting a bit.
Like what you see?

Wearing red on the red carpet doesnt work is what I have noticed for most part.
Yes, the blouse is a bit of a let down and Parvathi has a gorgeous toothy smile which keeping hidden is also taking away from the look. Giving an uncomfortable vibe.
The jewellery looks interesting from what I could make out..
I actually like the look!! Yes blouse could be better but the saree shines here, love the jewellery, her hair and her make-up all on point!! also very graceful age appropriate!!! Very rare these days!!
Something about this hairdo doesn’t feel right. Nice look otherwise. Not sure if it was event appropriate though!
I actually don’t mind the blouse (even I’m surprised by my reaction). Maybe it’s because Parvathy has this very cheeky nonchalance about her and wears her clothes lightly.
She sari is so pretty. The blouse isn’t so bad here as her cheerful personality carries it off well.
like nothing about this look- I feel very few (Rani, Vidya, Nandita, Nayanthara, Sayani, Dia, mini mathur, Maria, tilottama ) have a really good taste in handloom sarees and styling. They find innovation in traditional weaves. Saree like this one are so generic and not memorable in anyways.
sorry i forgot to mention the ultimate diva of sarees – Kangana ! she aces it like none other ( than mohua moitro)
How I wait for a Kangana sighting on HHC. One amazing look aftre another effortlessly everytime she’s featured, she picks some amazing local weaves and aces every look effortlessly with the right accessory/ jacket and makeup (heck, she slays just about anything she sports!!!)
The make up is not nice, makes her look dull. And some how smudges her features and beautiful eyes instead of making them radiant.
I personally have had this problem as well and I’m not sure how I’ll have to makeup luminous yet subtle without getting into the dull space, especially at events like this!
