Parineeti on Vogue:(Un)Covered
Just a few months after featuring on the cover with her peers, Parineeti features solo on the Feb edition of Vogue India wearing a Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna gown. If the gown looks familiar it’s cuz we’ve seen it on Nargis here.
Of the two covers, which one do you like her better in?

I am too distracted by the fact that she doesnt look like Parineeti anymore, leave aloe focus on the dress.
Do a favor for the readers and stop the photoshop people…. really – its making their pretty selves go from lovely and natural to ugly and artificial. Sorry to vent, but that’s all that the cover says..
Like the second cover though which is fresh and natural – or atleast thats how it looks since the photos arent up and close
Couldn’t agree more! Well said…
Someone from Vogue India needs to revisit the “photoshop” dept. A group my friends have stopped subscribing to this magazine because of ott photoshop. Parineeti is your regular girl next door….smart, chirpy mixed with a slightly longer nose and pointed chin…and those are distinct features which make her pretty. Anyway…she does look fab in the silver gown.
I think we can’t really say much about the photoshop issues since most magazines are known for overly photoshoping their cover models. It will always be like that!
My only complaint is that this cover is very boring! I loved the Elie Saab on her from the November cover. This cover is in need of some excitement.
OMG !
She looks like an animated character.
Dear Vogue,
Please get real.
The photoshopping is one thing but the top cover has completely killed what is clearly Parineeti’s USP – her spunk and charm!
It might as well be a mannequin
Thankfully the second cover captures her personality and thus wins by a mile
(It’s a great cover all up since everyone looks like themselves as well as fun. Oh and Ayushman’s smile pretty much sells the cover to me)
+1, the cover says “unguarded” too… so they should have atleast shot it to that theme or let her be….
and +1 on the second cover
At first I was trying to figure out who she was on the first cover..alia is wearing wrong shoes in the second pic
She looks amazing but doesn’t look like parineeti! I know she has lost weight and that makes a big difference but this looks too different.
First cover that’s not her face. Second cover, as always, she is like almost one third of her real size.
+1
Even in the 1st cover her waist is not that size.
I really like Parineeti and the folks at Vogue have done her a great disservice on the Frb cover. She looks like a wax figure with no emotions, when in reality her sparkle (be it through her eyes, smile and overall joi de vivre) makes her a real star. The Nov Vogue is definitely the better one!
the photoshop ppl took this a little too far making Parineeti look alot like Juhi Chawla.
no way Alia can be that tall in those awful flats she’s wearing. What an Fing joke.
