Dressed Up, Dressed Down

At Masaba’s wedding dinner, Dia was photographed in a black and gold maxi dress. Gold-toned accessories rounded out the actor’s look that evening. For a ‘clean-up’ initiative in Mumbai, Dia kept things appropriate in a simple cotton dress and pair of trusty white sneakers.

While she wears it well, the maxi dress just isn’t my cup of tea. It was easy to pick the more casual outing as the favorite look; no complaints there, Dia looked nice!

The Long And Short Of It

For an evening out, both Vidya and Kanika picked chartreuse dresses to wear. While the dresses themselves worked for the ladies, I am baffled by Vidya’s choice of accessories. The clutch, while I was not a fan of the fringe, still lent a nice bit of contrast to the dress. The slides though need to be put away and forgotten all about! In this match-up, Kanika has my vote!

Rasika took in a movie screening wearing separates by Urvashi Kaur. Silver earrings and strappy sandals rounded out the look well. I like that Rasika always keeps things interesting while still staying true to her aesthetic.

In Adaa Mallikk

At the recently held Stardust Anniversary event, Zara was photographed in an Adaa Mallikk gown. With her hair pulled back in to a knot, she rounded out the look with a Cartier necklace and pair of metallic silver ankle-strap sandals.

It was a gown that worked well on Zara; she looked nice. That said, I do wish she had swapped those sandals with either minimalist black ankle-strap sandals or gold-toned thinner ankle-strap sandals. The ones she had on didn’t quite complement the ivory gown. Change of heels and a sleeker hair do would’ve greatly elevated the look!

Of Outings

Malaika was spotted heading to dinner on Tuesday evening wearing a Mugler bodysuit with logo Gucci pantaleggings (their term/not mine).

This combo did not work. It just looked tacktastic.
