Ditto!

Both Kapoor ladies were spotted in the same Cue dress but in different colors. Got a preference for either color?

You can see the Kareena and Saif’s spread from Harpers Bazaar here.

P.S. Her photoshoot does remind of SJP’s shoot in Lanvin. You can check that out here. Thanks ‘erleichdaa’ for the reminder!

Sonam on Elle India: (Un)Covered

Sonam graces yet another March cover, this time on Elle India in a white Shantanu-Nikhil gown. We are just glad it wasn’t one of the two that we’ve seen so many times already! Maybe the duo heard us? 😉

In Lanvin

Spotted on Charu Sachdev, the Spring 2008 Lanvin dress also seen on Padma Lakshmi last year. Considering that Charu is the CEO of The Sachdev Groups and it represents Lanvin in India, am surprised that she didn’t wear something more recent. But, then I don’t blame her for picking this dress because the color is just so lovely. (Both the pics of her do not do justice to the dress.) I just wish she had chosen better footwear instead of those slip-ons!

You can check out Liv Tyler also wear the same dress here at RCFA.

Harper’s Sar(i)torial

The inaugural issue of Harpers Bazaar has a spread where top designers celebrate the six-yard wonder in their own way through sketches. In an article for MailToday, editor Sujata Assomull pairs some selected sketches with ladies who she thinks are best suited to a certain design based on “the way they wear the sari and not what saris they wear”.

I, for one, thought that the Dolce and Cavalli designs were hardly innovative. All they did was take their most common print and create a drape effect with it. Also, I really doubt Kareena would ever wear that Dolce creation! (But then, we’d love to feature her in a WTHeyyy and that is exactly where she will land up if she wears that. 😉 )

You can read the whole article here. (The file size is huge and may take a while to download but here is a screenshot of the article.)

What do you think of the designs and the pairings?

Choo Spotting

Designer Anamika Khanna attended the Lakme Fashion Week 10th Anniversary Bash in her own creation, pairing her outfit with a pair of Jimmy Choo Glenys Sandals. This is the same woman who created the outfit worn by Twinkle recently at Amrita’s Sangeet. That outfit got more hate than love! How do you like this one on her?

P.S. I added the runway pic to just to reflect her Spring 2009 work.

P.P.S. She is also the one who designed all of Sonam’s outfits in ‘Delhi-6’ and Sonam wore her creations to both the ‘Drona’ Premiere and ‘Delhi-6’ premiere.
