It’s just a thing of personal preference but I can’t really do a churidaar/salwar without a dupatta unless it has a very structured construction (think Rathore or Rajesh Pratap Singh or one of those straight-falling bandhgalas paired with churidaars!)… Having said that, I do think Konkana looks lovely in her outfit. It is summery, casual and works well on her!
P.S: Check out The Gallery for more pictures from the event!

I’ve seen some of her lehengas and they are pretty nice but if you ask me, I’ll take Manish Malhotra’s filmy/blingy saris over Maheka’s latest sari collection any day. I just can’t bring myself to like this net material that is so stiff it takes away all the elegance that should come with wearing a sari. The pallu and the bad folds just make it worse.

How do you wear a Marchesa badly? Too much eyeshadow and awful shoes, thats how!
Update: Thanks all for the ID!

As much as I love the metallic Shantanu-Nikhil dress (a variation of which you can see here), pairing it with the metallic BV knot was a bit much for me. As for Koena, hate the shoulder detail. Neither gets our vote in this face off. Who gets yours?
