Sangeet Style

Before you go ‘WTHeyyy’ seeing Timmy and Isha, let us inform you that the theme of their sangeet/pre-wedding bash was ‘Barbie and Ken @ The Disco.’ That should explain the plaid pants and satin belt tie on Timmy and the blonde extensions on Ms. Koppikar. Keeping with the bridal theme, Isha wore a white gown designed by Ashley Rebello that she paired with a white clutch.

Congratulations to the couple.

Also In Monisha Jaisingh

Monisha Jaising’s latest collection has found quite a few fans. Two back to back events and we’ve already seen four outfits from the collection.

Ramona (sister of the groom Timmy) wore the sequin jumpsuit that we originally thought was on Deepika on Verve. While I liked that Ramona wore a belt to break up the all-over sequin, I wish she had gone with a simpler black one instead of the Gucci bow belt that she has on. Considering the theme of the bash was ‘Barbie and Ken @ The Disco’, I’ll stop myself from critiquing her outfit more. 🙂

(P.S. I would have loved this one on her if she had dyed her hair black. Just had to get that outta the system! 😛 )

In Monisha Jaising

Considering the Reshma is a big fan of Monisha Jaising, it wasn’t a surprise to see her wear a dress from Monisha’s latest collection. She wore a blue dress with a Lady Dior bag and silver heels. I love the dress but the silver slip-ons and the red lips really don’t work with the cocktail dress.

In Dior

Love this cheery, flirty dress on Ms. Haydon. And how great does the color look on her? Love. Our only minor gripe is that the hair doesn’t mirror the feel of this dress. Where the dress hits a high note, the hair falls flat.
