After Adhuna, we spotted Amala wearing a kalamkari dress/tunic from Asmita’s Fall 08 collection. It doesn’t surprise us to see her don fellow Hyderabadi’s clothes especially considering Asmita styles her husband (Nagarjuna) in almost all of his movies. What does surprise us however is that we haven’t seen Amala wear more of her! :p

While we love the tunic/dress, we do wish Amala paired it with a different set of pants. The beige totally washes out the print and makes it all fall flat.

On an aside, Asmita’s Fall 08 collection with all of its stunning kalamkari pieces has been one of our favorites from all that we’ve seen of the designer, and though the collection may be seasons old, the work/craftsmanship itself is timeless and we can’t wait for more celebs to discover/be spotted in it.

The dress I really dislike (the embellishment/print is too spider like for comfort) but the shoes sing a whole different tune to me. Love the zip-front sandals!

As much as we love bright attention grabbing pumps, we think this dress didn’t quite need it. The print of this dress was interesting enough already but the added color just makes the whole outfit more overwhelming. A pair of neutral colored pumps (read: white/black/nude) and we might have loved this pink and black appearance too!
