As a salwar kameez, this design was as dowdy as it could get. As for the magazine cover, the blouse version wasn’t so bad but the denim shorts didn’t work either. We’d have loved to see some gold sequin shorts instead to tie in the traditonal vs western vibe that the cover seemed to aim at.
Like either? The ‘More’ version or the ‘Less’?

At a recent event spotted Ms. Dutta in a Bebe ruffle neck dress and as usual she looked so well put together. The thing with Lara is she always knows just how to finish off her look well, whether it be shoes, hair or make-up and it always works in her favor.

Ms. Rai made an appearance after eons in a green silk dress to unveil the latest Filmfare issue. The dress itself was nothing to write home about but those shoes. Yikes. We have nothing against wearing pointed pumps, its just the uber-long/out of proportion ones that get to us. For a perfect pair, just hop over here to see Katrina wear a just-right one.

Another rosette outfit spotting, this time, an Ayesha Depala gown on model/actress Lisa B. I love the color and soft draping of the gown but Lisa’s hair is a letdown. This gown needed an updo to show off those clavicles alongwith the rosette shoulder detail.
