For her Filmfare shoot, Kareena wore the strapless version of the Manish Malhotra sequin dress, seen first on Priyanka during the HDIL Couture Week. After a long time, this was a look we had loved on Priyanka (before she moved on to this).

So we’ll give her props for not wearing bad extensions and removing the blue streaks but even without it all Ms. Chopra came off looking quite drab in this Manish Malhotra creation. The outfit seemed too big on her and the hair still an eyesore. What say you?

Tarun and Malini at Jakarta Fashion Week

Day one of the 2009 Jakarta Fashion week ended with Indian designers Tarun Tahiliani and Malini Ramani showing with Indonesian designers Sebastian Gunawan and Priyo Oktaviano. While most of the time Indian designers show their just-shown collection at other fashion shows, for this event Tarun and Malini created a brand new collection taking inspiration from Indonesian culture and fabrics with the Indonesian designers doing the same from Indian culture.

Both Tarun and Malini stuck to their trademark designs but incorporated the traditional Indonesian fabrics with Tarun opting for the more heavy brocade silks and Malini going with light-weight fabrics like cotton with light embroidery in hers. More than our designers, I was blown away by the Indonesia designer’s collections. The attention to detail and silhouettes were far better. Of the four, I will have to say Malini’s was the one I liked the least. Your thoughts?

While Mallika went for a ‘girly’ look and paired hers with silver heels, Lynn tried for a more edgy look by pairing the pink BCBG dress with boots. Except, both didn’t quite get it right. We’d have preferred pumps or even strappy open-toe sandals on Mallika and a motorcycle jacket and ankle boots on Lynn. Our vote is for neither, who gets yours?

‘Chat-mangni/pat-byah’ of sis Shilpa forced Shamita to exit the Bigg Boss house prematurely and for her exit interview, Ms. Shetty wore a black shimmery Rocky S dress. I can see Dia wearing this dress with ease but Shamita’s dark lips are bothering me. You like?
