While we are suckers for rich silk saris and appreciate the fact that Ms. Jaitely keeps mixin’ it up with every appearance of hers… this one didn’t quite work. The blouse, the jewelry, the make-up… it was all a bit much. Especially the make-up, was way too overwhelming and made it near impossible to look past it.

These aren’t the kind of pants that I’d ever wear but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate it on someone else… it’s just that, it isn’t doing much for Konkona either. Waist up Ms. Sen Sharma looks great but these extra wide pair o’ pants are fun for lounging around at home but not much for stepping out in. Remember her wearing these pants before?
If she does have a thing for cotton, vegetable dyed type of pants, wish she’d pick up narrower ones.

For a debutant actress who you’d think would be pulling out all stops, her appearances have been walloping disappointments. Neither sari does anything for Zarine and she looks so dated. Especially in the peach.
Maybe third time would be the charm for this pretty lady?
