In Surily Goel

If you’ve been following Ms. Mehra on Twitter, you already know she was wearing a Surily Goel fringe dress to the Stardust Awards… Here’s a dekho at the actual dress.

The dress looks great on her and the gold accessories work really well with it, though we do wish she skipped the beads for a cleaner look. The bangles and shoes were enough with that dress we think.

In Just Cavalli

Ms. Pandey was spotted wearing a variation of the Just Cavalli Madras print pencil dress that we featured back in May’09. The print is so fun but I am not loving the version that Bhavna has on (maybe cuz I’ve been lusting the pencil version for a while now). Also, the tan clutch and sandals don’t work with it.

Doing White

In more ways than one, Mugdha and Neetu looked very similar to me. They both wore white with a bindi with the hair parted and twisted back but while Mughda tied it up, Neetu kept it down.

Neck up this is the best Ms. Chandra’s looked in a long while. As for the sari/blouse, it looks like any other white-bling-channeling-Chandni kinds that we’ve seen on so many others. Mugdha, on the other hand, looked gorgeous in her white halter gown. The empire waist makes her look so statuesque but I think she could’ve done without the bindi.

At The Races

Natasha attended the ‘Veer’ exhibition race wearing a strapless Oscar De La Renta dress and offset the feminine feel of the dress with the grungy Balmain jewelled sandals. Not only did the dress feel too out of place for the day event, I for one, didn’t like the sandals with the dress. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing part-feminine/part-grunge look but this dress is just too formal.

Going Green: A Face Off

As much as I loved the color on both these ladies, neither one was a clear favorite. Didn’t like the bust detail on Urvashi’s (an Archana Kochar?) and what annoyed me about Asin was that her gown (a Varsha Bhawnani) had a shoulder detail but she hid it by putting the hair on that side. Care for either or neither?

P.S. Both are at different events.
